Regional Head of Outreach and the Board of Trustees Secretariat and Its Committees
Nevine Talaat Abdelaziz is the Regional Head of the Outreach Unit and Acting Regional Head of the Technical Support Unit for the Board of Trustees at the Centre for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe (CEDARE).
With more than 20 years of professional experience, Nevine has built a distinguished career in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, outreach, branding, marketing, and high-level event management across governmental institutions, international organizations, and donor-funded development programs. Throughout her career, she has successfully led communication and outreach initiatives for major USAID-funded projects, including STEP, SSA, and EGDP, while serving in senior communication and coordination roles within Egypt’s Ministry of Environment and the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA).
At CEDARE, Nevine leads the development and implementation of regional outreach strategies, fosters partnerships with governments, international organizations, the private sector, and development partners, and supports the Centre’s engagement with its Board of Trustees and member countries. Her expertise spans strategic communications, partnership development, protocol and diplomatic engagement, conference and event management, institutional branding, and stakeholder relations.
Nevine holds a Bachelor of Commerce (English Section) from Cairo University and an Executive MBA Essentials qualification from the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom. She has further strengthened her expertise through specialized training in sustainability and environmental reporting, supporting her contributions to sustainable development initiatives and regional cooperation.
The Centre for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe (CEDARE) was established in1992 as an international inter-governmental Organization with diplomatic status.
