CEDARE hosted a scientific lecture as part of CEDARE Salon entitled
“The Role of Earth Observations and Data Science in Enhancing Environmental Resilience in the Mediterranean Region and Beyond.”
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Hesham El-Askary, Professor of Remote Sensing at Chapman University (USA) and former Vice President of the Egyptian Space Agency.
The session highlighted how Earth Observation data and advanced analytics support evidence-based decision-making in climate change adaptation, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable resource management.
