CEDARE Hosts TERAMed Delegation to Advance Clean Energy Transition in the Mediterranean

by CEDARE Team

On 15 July 2025, CEDARE had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from the TERAMed Initiative, joined by representatives from Bayshore Philanthropy, Partners for Inclusive Energy (PIE), and Earth’s Climate for Sustainable Development Foundation (EC4SDF), TERAMed’s national partner in Egypt.

The meeting focused on exploring areas of collaboration around clean energy transition, grid modernization, and regional energy integration in the Mediterranean region. This dialogue supports the joint ambition of deploying 1 terawatt of renewable energy by 2030, and reinforces Egypt’s Vision 2030 and leadership on climate action following COP27 and COP28.

CEDARE reaffirms its commitment to fostering regional and international partnerships that accelerate an inclusive and sustainable energy transition. We highly value this constructive exchange and look forward to concrete next steps with our esteemed partners.
