On July 8, 2025, CEDARE was honored to take part in the Dialogue Youth Session held at the Institut Français d’Égypte in Cairo, following the outcomes of the UN Ocean Conference (UNOC) last June in Nice, France.
Dr. Hossam Allam, Sustainable Growth Programme Manager at CEDARE, joined a panel discussion titled “What happened in UNOC and what’s next?” where he shared insights on the key achievements and future directions for ocean governance and conservation.
The event brought together youth leaders, environmental experts, and representatives from key institutions to discuss the importance of global collaboration and youth engagement in protecting our oceans.
