CEDARE Resumes Membership in Global E-Waste Alliance at World Resources Forum 2025

On 2 September 2025, during the first day of the World Resources Forum 2025 in Geneva, the Sustainable Recycling Industries (SRI) Project concluded its second phase (2019–2025).

At the same event, it was announced that CEDARE has resumed its membership in the StEP Initiative (Solving the E-waste Problem Initiative), hosted by the World Resources Forum Association (WRFA).

Representing CEDARE – Centre for Environment & Development for the Arab Region & Europe, Dr. Hossam Allam, International Expert & Director of the Sustainable Growth Programme, and Dr. Mona Daoud, Head of the Climate Change Unit, joined global partners to advance innovative solutions for e-waste management and the circular economy.
