Dr. Khaled Fahmy, Executive Director of Cedare – Centre for Environment & Development for the Arab Region & Europe met with UN-HABITAT’s Country Programme Manager (Egypt), Regional Office for Arab States, Mr. Ahmed Rezk on February 16, 2025 at Cedare premises in Cairo. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Hossam Allam, Director of Cedare’s Sustainable Growth Programme, and Dr. Karim Morsy, UN-Habitat’s Partnership Coordinator.
The meeting objective is in line with CEDARE’s continuous efforts to build on mutual synergies and experiences between Cedare and its partners. Cedare and UN-Habitat agreed that both organizations will collaborate in regional projects, with a focus on sustainable cities, urban environment, green economy, energy and SDGs.
