From February 23-26, 2025, Amman, Jordan, became a hub for innovation, collaboration, and digital progress at the Digital Cooperation and Development Forum (DCDF 2025)!
Organized by United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia – ESCWA, the League of Arab States (LAS), and the Government of Jordan (MODEE), this event brought together policymakers, industry leaders, and experts to discuss the power of digital transformation in shaping a sustainable future for the Arab region.
Tackling Environmental Challenges with Tech!
On February 25, a dynamic multi-agency workshop explored how digital and space technologies can tackle climate change, enhance resource efficiency, and promote sustainable development. Through a series of case studies, experts illustrated how digital and space technologies can enhance resource efficiency, support climate resilience, and foster a circular economy. Additionally, discussions underscored the importance of responsible e-waste policies and sustainable digital strategies.
