Regional Workshop on the Al-Murunah Project “Building Climate Resilience through Nature Based Solutions to Water and Agriculture in the MENA Region”

Centre for Environment & Development for the Arab Region & Europe (CEDARE) is pleased to announce the Regional Workshop on the Al-Murunah Project: Advancing Climate-Resilient Nature-Based Water Solutions, which will take place at Steigenberger Hotel, Cairo, Egypt, from February 9–11, 2025.

The International Water Management Institute (IWMI), IUCN and CEDARE constitute the main partners of Al-Murunah project, which is funded by UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).

The workshop aims to exchange knowledge, review progress, and scale up sustainable water solutions in Egypt, Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon. It will bring together key stakeholders to explore collaboration opportunities and enhance policy influence on supporting climate-resilient water solutions.
