CEDARE โ Centre for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe โ in partnership with the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) and under the Al-Murunah+ Project, funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), is pleased to announce a Call for Proposals (No. 10/2 โ 2025) for qualified consulting firms specializing in agribusiness and value chain development.
This consultancy aims to empower women and enhance their participation in agricultural value chains in Beheira Governorate โ Abu Al-Matamir area, through the implementation of an integrated five-month economic intervention plan.
๐ฏ Key Objectives
- Strengthen the social and economic role of women through gender integration and empowerment.
- Support rural households via training, capacity building, and EA$E sessions.
- Promote community participation through engagement with local leaders and influencers.
๐งฉ Consultancy Tasks
- Conduct a comprehensiveย market and value chain analysisย and business planning study.
- Develop a tailoredย business model and marketing strategy.
- Deliverย three EA$E-based economic training sessionsย for 150 couples.
- Facilitate theย procurement and delivery of economic inputs and equipmentย for selected women beneficiaries.
โ Eligibility Criteria
- Legally registered consulting firms in Egypt with valid tax registration.
- Proven experience inย agribusiness, value chain development, and womenโs economic empowerment.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage and implementย field activitiesย and coordinate with local stakeholders.
