CEDARE launched the Green Hotels Training Programme as part of the activities of the ShMILE-2 project, on 25 February 2013
in the Governorate of Matrouh and on 27 February 2013 in the governorate of Alexandria. The workshops covered an introductory presentation on the European Ecolabel, and the environmental criteria required for its implementation. The workshops were attended by 111 participants, representing 26 touristic accommodation establishments, as well as public and government institutions and academic institutions.
