On 28 May 2025, the Centre for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe (CEDARE) and Hub del Norte, a Spanish initiative affiliated with Planetenergynowand an accredited hub within the global Savory Network, signed a joint Memorandum of Understanding to promote and advance sustainable development and enhance climate resilience in farming and grazing communities.

This strategic partnership marks a significant step toward collaboration in key areas, including sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, ecosystem restoration, and the Water-Food-Energy Nexus. The two parties will work together to strengthen climate resilience and promote innovative solutions for agricultural and pastoral communities in the region.

Areas of cooperation include supporting startups and SMEs in green sectors, promoting holistic land management, expanding access to clean energy, restoring ecosystems, and developing integrated water-food-energy solutions that are inclusive and gender-responsive.

We look forward to a fruitful collaboration that delivers wide-reaching and impactful results.
