On 15 September 2025, CEDARE – Centre for Environment & Development for the Arab Region & Europe hosted a special Salon dedicated to the Stockholm Junior Water Prize – Egypt, marking Egypt’s debut in the international finals of the Stockholm Junior Water Prize (SJWP).
Presentations by young innovators Adam Ahmed El-Hussiny Salama and Ahmed Hosny Eldeeb, showcasing their award-winning project: “AI-Optimized Hydrogel-Zeolite Photocatalytic Wastewater Purifier.”
Keynotes by Dr. Khaled Fahmy, Executive Director of CEDARE, and Dr. Amr Abd Elmegeed, Director of Water and Environmental Governance Programs at CEDARE.
