CEDARE – Centre for Environment & Development for the Arab Region & Europe today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Arab Oasis Canada – Canadyne Technologies Inc. , marking a significant milestone in strengthening environmental resilience and emergency preparedness across the Arab region. The agreement focuses on designing and implementing specialized training programmes in environmental protection, maritime safety, and emergency response; developing oil spill preparedness plans and advanced mitigation technologies; enhancing marine and coastal ecosystem protection; building capacity in environmental risk management and regulatory compliance; and promoting the integration of spill response strategies into national environmental policies. It also emphasizes the exchange of expertise, innovative technologies, and best global practices. Looking ahead, this partnership paves the way for future cooperation in various environmental fields, with a special focus on Saudi Arabia and Egypt, reinforcing our shared vision for sustainability and regional collaboration.
