CEDARE hosted the National Project Advisory Committee (NPAC) meeting on 28 January 2026 at its Cairo premises, bringing together senior representatives from key national institutions and in collaboration with development partners: International Water Management Institute (IWMI),UK International Development (FCDO) UK Government, and Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Egypt.
The meeting focused on reviewing the Al-Murunah pilot results, presenting the proposed national scaling plan, and collecting NPAC feedback and endorsement. Discussions also covered Al-Murunah+ updates, planned economic interventions, and preparations for a national workshop to engage broader stakeholders.
The meeting concluded with agreements on roles, support mechanisms, and next steps, strengthening collaborative efforts to scale innovative solutions in water, agriculture, and environmental management across Egypt.
