As part of the Waste2Fashion Project, funded by the Interreg NEXT MED Programme and aimed at promoting circular economy practices and developing sustainable solutions for textile waste management, CEDARE – Centre for Environment & Development for the Arab Region & Europe participated in the Textiles Recycling Expo Europe 2026, held on 24–25 June 2026 at Brussels Expo, Belgium. Brussels City / Belgium.
The Expo is one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to textile recycling, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, innovators, and technology providers to showcase the latest solutions and technologies in textile recycling, sustainable materials, and post-consumer textile waste management.
CEDARE’s participation provided an excellent opportunity to explore the latest innovations and technologies, exchange knowledge with international experts and partners, and identify best practices that support the development of the textile sector and accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable and resource-efficient circular economy.
This participation reflects CEDARE’s commitment to strengthening regional cooperation, promoting innovation, and facilitating knowledge exchange, contributing to the development of practical and sustainable solutions for textile waste management across the Mediterranean region.
